Data Deletion

Last updated: April 30, 2026

You have full control over the data Glide CoPilot holds about you. This page explains the three ways to delete it — pick whichever matches what you want to do.

Option 1Most common

Delete data from one connected platform

Use this if you connected an integration (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Google Business Profile, etc.) and want to remove just that integration without closing your Glide account.

  1. Sign in at glidecopilot.com/login.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  3. Click Disconnect on the integration you want removed.
  4. Confirm in the dialog.

What happens immediately: the access token is revoked with the platform, and all data we received under that token (Pages, IG messages, Threads posts, etc.) is queued for deletion.

What happens within 24 hours: the queued data is purged from our primary database. Within 90 days it’s also purged from rolling backups.

Option 2

Delete your entire Glide CoPilot account

Use this if you want everything gone — your account, every integration, every message, every post, every brand brief.

  1. Email privacy@glidecopilot.com from the email address on your Glide account, with the subject line “Account deletion request.”
  2. In the body, confirm the deletion and (optionally) tell us whether you want a final export of your data first.
  3. We’ll reply within one business day with a confirmation step. Once you confirm, deletion completes within 7 days.

What happens after confirmation: your account is closed, all connected integrations are revoked simultaneously, and active data is deleted from the dashboard.

What happens within 30 days of confirmation: all personal data is permanently purged from our primary database, except where we’re legally required to retain it (e.g. tax invoices for 7 years, where applicable). Backups roll over within 90 days.

This is irreversible. If you want a copy of your data first, see Exporting your data below.

Option 3Meta users only

Remove Glide via Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads)

If you originally connected Glide through Meta’s OAuth flow, you can also remove it from inside your Meta account. Meta will notify Glide automatically and we’ll delete your Meta-related data on our side.

  1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Scroll to Apps and Websites.
  3. Find Glide CoPilot in the list.
  4. Click Remove.

Meta will then call our deletion endpoint at https://glidecopilot.com/api/integrations/meta/disconnect. We respond by revoking tokens and deleting all Facebook, Instagram, and Threads data within 24 hours.

Note: this only removes Meta-related data. If you also have a Glide account with non-Meta integrations (Google, Twilio, etc.), those continue to exist. Use Option 2 if you want everything gone.

Option 4

Email us — for everything else

If you can’t sign in to your Glide account (lost access, forgot email, etc.), or you’re a non-customer requesting deletion of data we may hold about you, email us at privacy@glidecopilot.com.

Include in your message:

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your account (if any).
  • What you want deleted — full account, a specific integration, or specific records.
  • Whether you also want a final export of your data before deletion.

We respond within 30 days. If we need to verify your identity (to protect against unauthorized deletion requests), we’ll reply asking for a confirmation step. Once verified, deletion completes within 7 days.

Bonus

Exporting your data first

You can request a copy of your Glide data before deleting. Email privacy@glidecopilot.com with the subject line “Data export request” from the email address on your Glide account.

We’ll generate a ZIP archive containing JSON files for your account, settings, journeys, brand DNA, and message history, and email you a download link within 7 days. The link expires after a further 7 days.

What exactly gets deleted

For full account deletion (Option 2), the following are removed from our systems:

  • Account record (name, email, password hash, business profile)
  • Integration credentials (all OAuth tokens, encrypted at rest)
  • Integration-derived data (Pages, IG accounts, Threads users, calendar events, etc.)
  • Messages and conversations across all channels
  • Posts, drafts, and Compose history
  • Reviews you’ve responded to (the response text and metadata Glide stored — the original review remains on the source platform)
  • Brand DNA briefs, vibe template selections, visual references
  • Journey definitions, automations, and execution history
  • Booking records, customer notes, and contact data you uploaded
  • Usage logs, click events, and AI prompt history attributable to your account

Anonymized, aggregated metrics (e.g. “X% of users used feature Y this week”) may persist with no link back to you.

Retention exceptions

We may retain a minimal set of records longer than 30 days when we’re legally required to:

  • Tax and billing records — typically 7 years from the date of the invoice.
  • Records subject to a legal hold or pending dispute.
  • Anti-fraud markers — non-personal hashes used to prevent reabuse of our systems.

These exceptions are kept to the minimum required and stored separately from the active product database.
